Regenerative EV Cars Idea (HUB Motors)

One cool idea I had for regenerative EV cars is installing HUB motors. They are motors that go in your wheel rim and use electricity and momentum for propulsion just like an eBike HUB. When not using power they can regenerate electricity. You could have a rear wheel drive active and let the front wheels regenerate or let off of the acceleration to regenerate power. You can get HUB motors for around $2k-$3k online. They have quick supercar torque too. Let me know what you think.
