Ice Cream Parfait

The French have come up with everything! Check out an ice cream parfait, it’s ice cream, fruit sauce, fruit, granola and cream all together, just like a yogurt parfait but with ice cream. You can go crazy with ideas for these like cookies and cream, banana pudding, strawberries or any type of ice creams and fruits. There is a link below for recipes.

• 1 lb strawberries

• 1/4 cup granulated sugar

• 1 tbsp fresh orange juice

• 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

• 3/4 cup heavy cream

• 1 pint vanilla ice cream

• 4 graham crackers

• 1 pint lemon sorbet 

1. Combine strawberries, sugar, orange juice, and vanilla in a food processor, then process until smooth.

2. Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.

3. Layer strawberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, crushed graham crackers, and lemon sorbet in parfait glasses, adding more sauce between layers. Top with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs.

4. Serve immediately.
