If I were to live somewhere other than the North it would either be Texas or Florida because I am southern at heart and enjoy the warmer climate, even though there are hurricanes I would work around them with this lifestyle plan. I found Condominiums in Boca Raton for under $100,000 2Bd 2Bth with around 1,000 Sqft. HOA is a little pricey at about $700 monthly. They are close to the beach and of course restaurants and other amenities. I would rent an indoor parking garage for around $100 (monthly) to keep my car in during floods and hurricanes or I would just drive to Atlanta, GA to get away for a while.
