Dispatchers calculate and negotiate prices, book jobs and calculate expenses for you so you can make a profit. You can do this from your home with a phone, computer and email address. Dispatchers make an average income of $40k-$50k annually or about $21Hr. Load boards cost around $50-$300 monthly and charge around 5%-10% for each load. I would recommend starting a dispatcher business if you have or want experience with trucking or freight and are an organized person.
