If small and compact is your thing, check out the Audi TT Roadster. It’s a mini R8 Spyder. It has 211HP going 0-60 in 5.3 seconds with an average of 26mpg, that’s good gas mileage for commuting. You can get it in a coupe hardtop as well as a convertible roadster. Every time I see these I smile thinking of its resemblance to the R8 and how fun it would be to drive. You can get one for around $15k with less than 60k miles.
